A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect from one URL to another. Whether you’re switching domain names, restructuring your URLs (more on that in the next section), or consolidating content as part of your website redesign, setting up 301 redirects is crucial to ensuring any “SEO juice” from your old URLs gets transferred to your new URLs. Ranking factors play a huge role in SEO and the overall digital marketing strategy of a website. So you want to add value for your visitors? At it’s core, that’s what SEO is all about. Sure, there are some technical rules that Google will reward us for, but at the end of the day, search engines are more successful when they provide people with a gratifying experience. Type in your keyphrases. At least look at the first page (the top 10) and see what everyone else has in their description tags. Does it look like they’re being pulled from the copy on their pages? If your current website isn’t using HTTPS then you should start scoping out a migration.

In this type of SEO project, you would strive to occupy additional spots in the top 10 results to push the critical listing lower, and hopefully off the first page. If search engines don’t know your website/webpage exists, your chance of ranking isn’t just an improbability, it’s an impossibility. SEO is the process of driving traffic from the ‘organic’, and ‘paid’ sources to win the rat race of ranking on search engine result pages (SERPs). Thin content issues might negatively impact SERP visibility

Link Exchange is another good way for building links. However, you need to be careful with this one. I am not asking to go around ‘asking people for links’. Just move subtly with it. The best links to your website are the ones coming from real websites, with good content and lots of social media shares. There's nothing like marketing in the minute. Only write for highly reputable websites in your niche. Don’t waste time writing for websites with a Domain Authority level lower than that of your site. Your link will have very little value, and you might end up having your link removed without further notice.
