Google wants users the most relevant results for their search. The more relevant your content is to their search, the more likely your website will be number 1 on Google. Google wants to know about the keyword usage. You should ensure the keywords are properly applied in the title tag and have properly crafted meta-description. of SEO, the organic search engine optimization discipline was more of a technical skill, of making sites crawlable. Then the focus switched to creating quality content where keywords were used in a natural way. Do the main pages of the site have enough content? Do these pages all make use of header tags? A subtler variation of this is making sure the number of pages on the site with little content is not too high compared to the total number of pages on the site. It isn't just about the number of links that are going to a domain, but about the quality of those links. Unfortunately, this isn't something you can do quickly overnight.
