Date Tags metrics

ou can find out the same by tracking the keywords that users are typing in the search bar on your website. You can get a nice long list of keywords from there. Find out the information your users are searching for. Do you provide that information on your website? Is your website giving the users all that they are looking for? Ask yourself these questions. It’s easy to assume that Google already understands the content and relevance of each and every page on your website, but the fact is that it needs a fair amount of hand-holding. Fortunately, helping Google along really isn’t very difficult at all. SEO is marketing. It’s important that it be presented and treated as such, no matter how important a technical foundation is to the discipline. Give your customers points toward free products. Be generous with the points, so it is easy for them to visualize cashing them in after a few orders. The points could be toward products or information, available only to those redeeming points, so customers feel special because they have access to those products. Another option is to throw in a freebie of some sort, with every order.

What is Keyword Research?

A 301 redirect, or also known as a permanent redirect, should be put in place to permanently redirect a page. The word ‘permanent’ is there to imply that ALL qualities of the redirected page will be passed on to the detour page. Links help search engines connect the relevancy of a page with specific keywords -- based on the keywords that are used in a link’s anchor text. Social networks are an important source of traffic. Good content significantly raises the probability of the posts being frequently shared organically on social networks which helps you expand your reach. At the same time, you can also generate additional traffic through social channels. Social interactions are also registered by Google and can help the search engine review the relevance and quality of your content. No doubt over recent months, you would have noticed in SERP's (search engine results pages) that many spammers have been exploiting this with 50+ character hyphenated domain names, followed by file paths a mile long.

Does your site sabotage your content?

9 out of 10 people users make use of Search Engines to find an answer to their query. When these users type in their keywords/query, the Search Engine’s bots and spiders run their complex algorithms, scan through the giant database that has been crawled and indexed by them. They, then come up with results (websites) whose keywords matches with that of the query. Over the years, I’ve gotten very far with my on-page SEO strategy. You’d be surprised: Smart on-page SEO and especially internal link structure can get you amazing results in search engines. Google counts links from other websites as votes. So, when they’re presented with two (or more) pages on the same topic, the page with the most links (i.e. votes) will usually rank higher than the page(s) with fewer links. Remember, it takes 20 years to build a reputation and only five minutes to ruin it.

Avoid paid links that don't use the rel=nofollow attribute

Your website should be accessible to the search engine crawlers and the users with optimum site-load-speed and needs to be devoid of any broken links or errors. Sites with high accessibility enjoy better rankings than sluggish, faulty websites. As long as you’re playing by the rules, there’s no significant danger that you'll earn a penalty or damage your reputation in the process. While most blindly assume that SEO is about keywords (which is partially true), real SEO is involves grasping the underlying metrics and logic that search engines use to determine which websites are authoritative and which others are not. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant : "Google does not always show the title tags as you intend it to to show. It might not take the title tags from their beginning if a query best matches words from the middle or end of a title tag."

Boost search engine rankings

Make it easy for users to distinguish between regular text and the anchor text of your links. Your content becomes less useful if users miss the links or accidentally click them. Don’t be scared by the acronym SEO, it just allows sites like Google to read your website and rate you in terms of how relevant you are to the users search terms. Search engines are more likely to give your website a good rating if you are popular amongst users because of the user-friendliness and the ability of your site to create user engagement by giving them relevant and beneficial content and making it easy to understand. Low-quality links can lead to a higher bounce rate and click-through rates, which can eventually degrade the ranking of your site on search engines.
